Directed and created an educational action sports DVD; led and managed a production team; wrote contracts, treatments, outlines, and storyboards; created “revolutionary animations” with Flint to show how wave energy interacts with the topography of the ocean floor to create giant waves; documented big wave surfing and interviews with a Sony DSR-500 camera; edited, mixed and finished with Edit and Combustion; coordinated and directed DVD production and delivery.

Responsible as Cinematographer, Producer, Director, Editor and Compositor. Created live event programs, national spots, promos and web movies. Fourth hire in an action sports start-up led by veteran Surfer Magazine Editor Steve Hawk. Founded the Video Channel at Surfline.com (formerly Swell.com). Directed and created “XXL: The Original Documentary,” the 1st & 2nd annual XXL Big Wave Awards shows. Documented the legendary first surf session on 60-foot waves at Cortes Bank, 100 miles west of San Diego, and licensed the footage to NBC Dateline and others.

Edited and mixed over 100 shows for FOX, ESPN2 and others for international broadcast. Documented special events like the Indigenous People's First Annual Expression Session at Sunset Beach, Oahu, and Quiksilver's surf film "Metaphysical" in G-Land. Worked and traveled extensively with an amazing small crew on multiple action sports tours, including pro surfing's World Championship Tour (WCT) in places like Indonesia, Australia, and Hawaii.
