INVESTIGATE
THE VOTE
This "GRAND THEFT AMERICA" flash movie
is about 2000 vote-scrubber / 2002 House Rep.
Kathleen Harris (assembled by BBC reporter Gregory Palast, sent
by Leni Battaglia, international law student).
On 11/11/04, MSNBC broadcast
this news segment about serious vote fraud concerns ->
The acne that is the 2004 election makes Florida in
2000 look like a small pimple. We all need to get
the facts.
"This is not about who won or lost," says
Jesse Jackson.
"This is about participating in democracy.
The 2004 election is not past-tense. We are not whining. It is time
to take this struggle to the streets and fully legitimize this struggle."
Votergate's
online documentary with Seattle grandmother-activist Bev Harris
and Gov. Howard Dean shows first-hand how 50
million e-votes could've easily and anonymously been hacked
by Diebold, Inc. Watch.
Researchers at M.I.T.
and Johns Hopkins warned us here
and here.
"The current DRE machines are monstrosities. They cost ten
times more than they should. Their designs are secret and their
code is proprietary...and what precious few facts that have been
revealed in public are deeply troubling."
Johns
Hopkins researchers found many software errors, poor
design methodology, and worthless security on Diebold e-vote software.
In 2003, Diebold's CEO, a Bush re-election backer,
apologized for a memo
in which he mentioned being "committed
to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president
next year."
Ohio's Secretary of State Blackwell allowed Diebold
machines to tally votes in Ohio despite the fact that the software's
inherent 57 flaws were uncorrected and flunked two reviews.
M.I.T. noted this and reported
in July 2004 that Blackwell had halted Ohio's deployment of electronic
voting machines. Guess again.

the electonic voting controversy.

Box Voting, the first publicly-funded, independent consumer

methods. Progressive Democrats
of America are also on it.
There are over 30,000 irregularities to contend with;
David Corn of The Nation reminds
us that systemic problems do not mean the election results were
rigged. However, the glaring lack of evidence
to explain why so many irregularities are happening needs to be
investigated. Legitimize democracy. Investigate
the vote. Sign and send off a call
to investigate or a
petition or two.
Thanks.

officials about election concerns are currently ongoing...
